Aligning policy and practice to build the next generation of women’s entrepreneurship in Vietnam
Vietnam highlights female entrepreneurship as central to its national development strategy, yet the country has moved even further from its targets as women-owned enterprises were among the greatest economic casualties of the Covid-19 lockdown in Vietnam. On December 1, Echidna Global Scholar, Tran Tran, will lead a workshop focusing on how policy and practice can work together to ensure aspiring women entrepreneurs have the competencies, supports, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Tran will be joined by Liz A. Dorn, Seminars Program Coordinator at the Professional Development Program, East-West Center and Hien Tu, Founder & CEO of Women's Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship (WISE) for a deep dive conversation. The workshop will also include opportunities for networking and audience interaction.

Dec 1, 2021 07:00 AM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
